The Tall inspiration of my life

When I was kid and was asked, ‘what I would like to become?’ I would invariably end-up answering “Amitabh Bachchan” and Why? Simply because he takes bad man to task, he solves all the tough puzzles and looks great. Very little did I know 30 years back that my answer to the most monotonous question in an innocent kids life would remain same. However, the reason today is very different then what it was 30 years back, the Tall inspiration of my life is the most trusted story that I know of.

For me as a kid being ‘Amitabh Bachchan’ was like have a magic-wand, it is the solution of problems that once might face in life. The definition of being ‘Amitabh Bachchan’ has not change in so many years and why should it? Look at the challenges that this super star of the millennium has face in his career and life time and how he has eventually come out victorious each time. Each time life came up with a challenge Mr. Bachchan has truly fought like ‘Amitabh Bachchan’ on screen.

When I was rejected in job interviews, I remember how Mr. Bachchan was shown exit gate by All India Radio for not have the right quality of voice. Today no questions asked, he gets paid heavily for lending his voice in movies and documentaries.

In 1982, he was critically ill during the shooting of a movie and was almost declared dead by Doctors of a famous hospital in Bangalore. So the day I was lying half conscious after a fatal road accident I knew that if Mr. Bachchan can do it so should I be able to. Just like my tall inspiration, I too recovered and was back to normal life in no time.

It is not so that Mr. Bachchan always grew taller; he had his downs as well. Be it in politics or be it in business. He suffered heavy losses and burned bridges with close family friends. Such was the loss that Mr. Bachchan once feared people walking in this office asking for the money they invested in Mr. Bachchan’s venture. But he fought like ‘Amitabh Bachchan’ did on screen.  He fought in real life and came out with flying colours. He repaid all the dues, and in 70th decade of his life he is once again the most successful face of the Indian movies. He is one of the top paid actors and probably most loved by movie enthusiasts across the globe.

So when life becomes tough, I look at the childhood dream of becoming ‘Amitabh Bachchan’ that makes be optimistic about any situation. Be it financial crises, personal relationship or anything else for me life is all about being optimistic by being ‘Amitabh Bachchan’- the tall inspiration of my life.

For me being ‘Amitabh Bachchan’ is lot more than a being a movie star, it is all about confidence of one’s ability to survive through the tough times and that’s what keeps me going each day of my life.

5 Worst Aamir Khan Movies

Yes, Mr. Perfectionist made some awful selections that you will not believe, are among the worst of his movies. It was during is growing years and probably time when he was still learning the ABC of good script.

Idea behind this post is not to downplay the actor's talent but let all know that success comes after lots of hard-work, dedication and mistakes that one makes. Getting philosophical... but coming back to the topic. These 5 are my personal choice and trust me I have gone through the torture that probably most admiring Aamir Khan fan would not be able to tolerate.

If you ever happen to be part of debate about various ways to commit suicide, then consider proposing these five movies. Watch them back to back over a weekend and you may never ever again see a Monday.

At Number 5 is MELA, 2000

If one was to ask, 'what can do for your brother'... Mela would probably top the list. Aamir in an attempt to launch his brother made a foolish choice that he too would be saying 'what the hell did I do..." .

And guess what, what a waste of beautiful twinkle khanna this movie was. Terrible an hopeless characters and hardly anything that you may want to remember the movie for.

At Number 4 is Tum Mere Ho, 1990

Ah. this one was all about snacks, magic and love. A love story that would have more snacks than roses.

Get yourself nailed on a wall but avoid watching this musical love saga for its full length. Songs though were liked by many but trust me even in 2015 this movie looks like bad selection in 90s.

At Number 3 is Daulat ki Jang, 1992

Ya, it means war of wealth, treasure hidden somewhere in some jungle and lots of bad boys along with few good boys are hunting for it.

An Indian version of Machinas Gold in 1992 ?? this was pathetic and lousy movie that for sure will give you itching at lots of wrong places if you dare to watch this full length.

At Number 2 is Awwal Number, 1990

Such is the fate of this horrific movie that it cannot even top the list of most disastrous movies of Aamir khan. Awwl Number (meaning top ranked) is by no means top by any measuring criteria.

The only movie that feature Aamir along side ever green veteran star Devanand is such a classic backwas that even Aamir would not be able to sit and watch this from start to end. A typical example of lousy movies that Dev Sahaab made in last lap of his careers...

At Number 1 is Aatank hi Aatank, 1995

What a waste of talent and start line up. Aarmi Khan, Ompuri, Juhi Chawala and guess who... Rajnikanth, yes you read it right.

This one has Rajnikanth playing the role of elder bro of Aamir. You may better watch a dull and boring episode of 'Tarak Mehta ka Ulta chasma' but never try your patience and tolerance limit with this movie.

There are quite few more that probably can be added to list to make it 10 worst Aamir Khan movies. So, tell me / and all reads, about the worst movie of aamir khan that you ever watched ...
